MOMO, also known as The Men in Grey is a fantasy novel by Michael Ende published in 1973.

It is about the concept of TIME and how it is used by humans in modern societies.
It is a story of time-thievesand the child who brought the stolen time back to the people.

Plot Summary:
In the ruins of an amphitheatre lives Momo, a little girl of mysterious origin.
She is an orphan and wears a long old coat. She can’t write and she can’t count. She doesn’t know how old she is.
She has the extraordinary ability to LISTEN. She helps the people finding answers to their problems thinking of FUN GAMES.
The Men in Grey arrive and want to steal the TIME of humans.
They are grey-skinned, bald men that  smoke cigars of time. The idea of “timesaving” is promoted.

Friendship, compassion, value of the small but pleasant things that make life more worth living.
